Day 2

Morning I was able to finally time my alarm so that I woke up with energy! Day Still somewhat spacey, was able to do some hard physical labor, and get 7 hours of creative/detailed work in. Evening Had a burrito sitting next to me for the whole hour up til sunset. Reflections It's now been three days of fasting for me (since I started a day early). I think I've kicked my caffeine habit well enough. Hoping for more energy tomorrow...

Day 1 (for real)

Day 1 Morning Another 4am smoothie, another 3-hours of sleepiness. Day No real hunger throughout the day, but a pervasive spacey-ness. Evening Watched sunset from a new cliff vista and ate all the leftover pizza right afterwards. Reflections I had a dream last night that I was at a restaurant and realized halfway through eating my meal that it was daytime... But overall I'm surprising myself how quickly I can adapt to the new rules.

Day 1 (a.k.a. Actual Day 0)

...So, turns out I started one day early. I need to research facepalm emojis. I realized pretty early on, while talking with a friend around 1pm. At that point, I decided I may as well stick with it, so here's my reflections on "Day 1 for me." Day 1 Morning Based off  this chart , 4:24am was Suhoor time today. So I woke up at 4am, drank a HUGE protein shake that I made last night, and fell right back asleep until 5:30am. Day I lasted all day! Other than sleepiness from 6-8am, and again between 3-4pm, things felt pretty normal. Evening I ate basically an entire pizza at 8:15pm, half an hour after sunset. Reflections One of my goals over the month is to stick to an earlier morning wake time of 5:30am. I did that today... but then I went back to sleep from 6:30-8am.
